Throughout the summer, the series visits six beautiful venues around Ohio. The series culminates at Portage Lakes State Park on September 18 - 19. In addition to the Portage Lakes Triathlon and Duathlon, there is a Kids Triathlon and Duathlon, the Girls Tri Too Series final and Alan's Elite Race, in memory of Alan Boos. So whether you're racing for an elite amateur title or giving racing a try for the first time, this series is for YOU! It's ALL ABOUT FUN! Wheelie Fun! All races in the Wheelie Fun Triathlon and Duathlon Series are open to anyone wanting to take on the challenge, including the series championship on September 18 - 19. Series Point Grand Prix Rules
- All participants are eligible for the points
- You MUST race in at least four races with one being the series championship (Portage Lakes State Park) to be eligible for the Series Points Grand Prix.
- Up to five races count towards the Series Championship.
- Points are NOT transferable from the triathlon to the duathlon or vice versa.
- All Series Points Grand Prix participants will receive 10 points for EVERY race finished as bonus points. All participation points count towards the series championship.
- The Portage Lakes event awards double series points.
Awards
The top three in the Elite Open and Elite Master will receive custom awards each race.
The top three age group, Clydesdale (1,2, & 3), Athena, Mountain Bike and Relay Teams will also receive custom awards each race.
Series Champions will receive "Wheelie Fun Triathlon and Duathlon Series Champion" Race Singlets
