This race serves as the championship race for the Wheelie Fun Triathlon and Duathlon Series. The triathlon starts off with a beautiful 750 meter swim (1-lap Sprint, 2-laps Olympic) in Portage Lakes on a rectangular course along the beach. Duathletes start off with a 5k out and back run within the park. The triathlon and duathlon bike courses (1-lap Sprint, 2-laps Olympic) loop through the country roads surrounding the park. Both events finish with a run through the park with the finish line overlooking Portage Lakes.

Registration & Packet Pick-up

Saturday at the race site from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Sunday (race day) Packet Pickup only from 6:00 am - 7:30 am at the park beach area.

There is NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION, packet pickup ONLY!

 

Timing Chip Pick-up

Timing chip pick-up is Sunday (race day) from 6:00 am - 7:30 am

*You must wear a chip in order to be timed and receive results after the event.
*You will be charged $96 for each lost or non-returned chip.

 

Race Packets

All pre-registered participants will receive an official race technical t-shirt*, post race food and beverages and much more.

*Those registering the week of the race will not be guaranteed an official race t-shirt.

 

Awards

The top three Elite Open, Elite Masters & Elite Grand Masters male and female in the sprint and Olympic races will receive medals. In addition, the top three in all age groups (14 & under, 15-19, 20-24…75+), Clydesdale, Athena, Mountain Bike, Aqua Bike and all relay teams divisions will receive
awards.

 

Race Divisions

Age Group - 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Elite Open - 15-39 years old, has chance to finish in top 10 overall
Elite Master - 40-49 years old, has chance to finish in top 10 overall

Elite Master - 50+ years old, has chance to finish in top 10 overall
Clydesdale - Males racing weight groups in two age groups:
-under 39 & 185lbs-199lbs
-under 39 & 200lbs-224lbs
-under 39 & 225lbs +
-over 40 & 185lbs-199lbs

-over 40 & 200lbs-224lbs
-over 40 & 225lbs+
Athena - Females racing weights group, not age group - 150lbs+
Mountain Bike - racing on a heavier bike with wider tires then a triathlon bike
Aquabike - racing only the swim and bike portions only (no running)

Triathlon Team - one swim, one cyclist, one runner
Duathlon Team - one runner does both runs, one cyclist
